The Language of Silence. Hey guysss!!! How many of you love… | by Charishma | Introvert Diary | Nov, 2025

Hey guysss!!! How many of you love listening to loud mass music 🎶… and how many of you prefer soft, low-sound, calm music? Because today, I want to share something about Anaya(my friend) — a girl who was pure chaos since childhood. The kind of chaos that irritates you, troubles you, drags you into fights with seniors… but still becomes the chaos you miss the most.
This month when I met her after a long time in Chennai, she was so quiet… almost like she was resisting her own nature. It felt strange. Beautiful to my ears, yes, but unfamiliar to my heart. I missed her loud laugh, her madness, her over-the-top reactions. Maybe that’s why her smile now feels so soft… so calm… so controlled.
Some people say, ‘Bro, you’re grown now, you’ve completed your graduation, be mature. You can’t behave like a kid and laugh loudly in front of everyone… you’re an engineer now, you should be dignified…’ and blah blah. But tell me honestly — can you simply say “hi” and “bye” so easily to a childhood friend? A chuddi-buddy dosth? Someone with whom you once rode cycle… stood outside the principal’s cabin… fought silly fights… laughed till your stomach hurt?
So I asked her openly: why this sudden silence?
And this… this is her side of the story.
Because you are the one never judge and I can feel safe and more expressive. And yes, Of course to improve my writings also…
Silence had always been something Anaya avoided.
It felt too loud, too honest, too revealing…
