#4 series about Kepi’s writting cups
In my age now, I can say I have met a lot of people who have many different story back then. I know it’s not about prestigious achievement, but I learn a lot from them.
I feel like, get to know them as people around me is more interesting just like doing a research about relationship between environment and it’s human characters.
In the past, I used to know someone who have a good leadership. Not just about his capability to lead so many people, it’s public speaking ability in front of many people or or the many projects he led went very wel lbut it’s about his own character as a person. Despite his good leadership, he had a bad character image. When I knew him as a rude, arrogant, harsh, and mischievous person , I gradually learned various information about him. One day, I had the opportunity to work on the same project with him, and of course, he was the leader.
Remember, the character that I knew about him was a rude, arrogant, harsh, and mischievous person. However, there was a moment when I accidentally glanced at his phone, which displayed a lock screen with a photo of a cute and adorable little girl.
At that moment, I wondered, “Who’s that little girl on his wall?” and then I found out the answer from someone else. The photo was his younger sister, who was probably only 3 or 4 years old at that time. As someone who’s also close to my younger sibling without any significant fights, I never thought of using my sibling’s photo as my wall. And for some reason, a long-buried memory came up from my head, of a man walking around holding his little sister’s hand. Some people began to approach them — specifically the little girl.
And I began to question again, “Is he really the same person who had a rude, arrogant, harsh, and mischievous character?”
His negative image slowly began to change into a new image. But once again, there was an incident where he got into a fight with a junior who was in the same grade as me. Knowing his character, that didn’t surprise me at all. But one question came up again and again, “Why does he have such a bad temper when he can be so gentle with his younger siblings?”
And I don’t know why the universe always brings me to the answers I seek. I accidentally heard some people doing conversation talking about that fight incident. One person who knew more information about him said that his temperamental character was the result of his father’s harsh upbringing.
Beside his father’s parenting, what’s even more surprising is that when he achieved something, he didn’t forget to bring his mother along to celebrate the achievement because he loves his mom that much.
I came to realize that his brilliance in leadership could not be separated from the dark shadows that represented his negative side.
Because I once read one phrase,
“The brighter the light, the darker the shadows.”
So, Instead judge the cover, why don’t we start to read it.
