Battling Trauma by Making Cool Shit | by Mads Sastakauskas Østergaard | Oct, 2025

Yesterday was a big day for me.
I launched a product called Arcitext, dedicated to my wife who’s a writer.
Arcitext is more than just a non-intrusive AI-assisted copywriting platform.
It’s an extension of my world. One that’s been shaped by creativity, challenges, and the endless love of my family.
We’ve had our share of ups and downs in life.
I’ve been examined for ADD, but didn’t get the diagnose.
Instead, I’m wrestling with stress responses and attention issues. Largely stemming from some pretty intense family events over the past decade.
Last year, life threw us a curveball when my wife fell into an 8-day coma following the birth of our daughter.
I clearly remember a critical Friday summer evening, where we finally heard some good news.
I stepped out back, and saw this rainbow. The situation was almost too cinematic.
It was a traumatic experience that left us all scrambling. But through it all, I’ve found comfort in building things, and that’s how Arcitext was born.
So, what’s Arcitext?
It’s here to kick AI slop to the ground and put human creativity front and center.
With features that help you identify your unique writing style, it saves you time on brand profiling and feedback loops. And reach the finish line much sooner.
You can analyze your copy, get on-demand feedback, and even find inspiration when staring at a blank page.
Plus, it’s packed with tools designed to make writing feel less lonely.
Think of Arcitext as your personal writing coach and content strategist rolled into one.
And trust me, I know how isolating it can feel to create in silence.
That’s why I’m grateful for the people I’ve found in the building community. People I’d happily grab a drink with.
Now, as I’ve launched Arcitext, I’m doing this not just for me, but also as a tribute to my wife and our daughter.
I hope this product will eventually help us live life on our own terms. One line of code, one walk in the forest, and one piece of writing at a time.
We’ll see.
If you’re curious, head over to Arcitext.com and give it a spin.
And hey, if you have thoughts or ideas on how I can make Arcitext even better, drop me a comment or hit me up on X.
Let’s bring back good content, and start publishing copy that’s actually written by humans again.
