An Outstanding Duo in Fighting Games!! | by English Club SMA Unggulan Rushd | Oct, 2025

When people find new friends because of shared interests, it might sound kinda lame, right? Well, when I meet a new classmate, I usually just introduce myself and ask random stuff until I find something they like. But this time, it was different. There was this boy I found really interesting — turns out, he likes the same game as me!
At first, I told him a few things about the game, but soon I realized he had way more experience than I did. So, I decided to play the game he always plays.
It’s some kind of anime fighting game, and honestly, it was pretty easy at first. I played through the story mode and even beat the final boss quickly.
But he? He played it without taking any damage and got S rank in every mode!
Like, bro… do you even touch grass?
A month later, after playing other games with the same mechanics, I finally managed to get an S rank in the whole story mode too. Now, I was ready to face him.
We met up at his house — he had a PlayStation 4 in his room — and we decided to play Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
And guess what?
He had unlocked every single character, including the DLC ones! Like, man… how much money did you spend!?
We started a Versus Battle. I picked Obito Uchiha in Berserk Mode, while he chose Deidara — you know, the one who can spam long-range attacks.
I was like, “Bro, that’s literally cheating, isn’t it?” but he just laughed and said, “Chill, man, it’s just a game.”
When the match started, he kept spamming throw attacks the entire time. I couldn’t get close to him at first, but then I figured out a trick. I used a dash move, closed the distance, and knocked his character out. I actually won!
After the match, he admitted defeat, but he looked genuinely happy. His smile felt like he was saying,
“Finally… someone who can beat me! I’m going to invite him to play again and again!”
And guess what? The very next day, he showed up at my house, asking me to come over for a rematch. At first, I felt a bit annoyed, but deep down, I was happy. He kept inviting me to play, and now, I’ll never forget those moments with my best gaming duo.
