◇◇◇ EVERYTHING

To sum up – I know it might seem strange to read all this just for me to say something so simple… but I will.

I consider most things wins.

Not giving up – in every smallest, simplest, most primary sense of the word.
Being – existing – when we’re still alive.
Living – when we do something other than fall into the trap, or when we try to get out, even for a little while.
Fighting – doing the opposite of what the illness wants.

It all counts. A lot.
It all takes huge amounts of power and strength.

I know, sometimes diving into that poisoned mindset can feel safe and comforting…
But it won’t give us life.

Because every step against the illness brings us closer to the thing we all exist for – TO LIVE.

It’s worth trying. Fighting.
It’s hard – and not always immediately satisfying.

But when you get rid of that voice for a longer while – I promise, every healed and healthy person will see your efforts as a win.

You’re not weak for being sick, or for feeling worse.
You’re strong and worth so much more – because you’re still here.

We’re not giving up.
We’re warriors till the end.

♡♡♡

If you haven’t heard anything supportive among all the lies and wrong things tied to living in today’s society – I appreciate every single thing you do.

I appreciate that you’re alive. That you’re trying.

It’s a win when you eat (we are supposed to) – it’s also a win when you try to.

Every tear and battle you’ve faced in this struggle has made you stronger.
You are valuable.

The time spent drowning in eating disorders can still pay off – when you get out.

And that’s our mission.
Trying to get out of this trap.
To get our lives back – the lives that are waiting just around the corner of this snare.

You can do it. We all can.

Sending you any sign of support, love, and help you secretly want but wouldn’t admit,
Take care,
rachelyuma

♧♧♧

Remember: you can always call or text someone – reaching out for help is not weakness.
It’s the next win pulling you closer to recovery.

You’re always enough – there’s no such thing as “not sick enough.”

I hope you’re as okay right now as possible.
Take a break. Drink a glass of water.

I know you can do it.
And I’m by your side, just like the people who want and could support you, if you let them in.
