Why is your life like this? What is it that you need to do more? What do you need ……is it something that you can have? Or is it just not written for you?” she looked at one of her recent photo and asked to herself”. What is it that you are doing wrong? “what I am about to tell you is a story of a young girl in her 20s that survived without kidneys. Yes you heard it right she doesn’t have kidneys and managed to live for 21 years in this world when other girls of her age got to live their genz living styles she couldn’t even think about . That’s me the writer ,the author, the protagonist herself “HAZAL”.
Before I get deep into talking about my life let me familiarise you with my kidneys. I don’t have it. And by not having it I mean it is not working, I do have kidneys in me if you open me up you could see it both but what use is a clock with an empty battery ? My kidneys particularly doesn’t help me. And I have lived like that for 8yers now. I won’t say I am completely fine or happy with my life, but I sure have learned to adjust and sacrifice a lot….. I mean literally a lot at that. My life, my education, my goals, my dreams, MY FAM, were all forced to adjust to my life schedule which I sometimes ….actually all the time hate. Because having to burden your loved ones when you really don’t have a choice is really heart – breaking and frustrating. I always compare my life to a game. You open a game which is my life you have two option when you want to leave the game they ask “Do you want to QUIT?” “Yes or no” ,But for me it comes with only one option which is a “no” and I don’t have a back button to go to the home page . Like I have to complete this game for whatever it takes and keep moving on to the next level which is harder each time . This goes for not just me but every person, everybody is in a game that has been assigned to them by a creator and we have no choice other than to play it. But some have it easy that they finish the level really fast but some like me have it extremely hard that we want to quit but can’t. I ask this one question to myself everytime “What is my purpose in life”? Now if you think of this in a spiritual way we could say for praising almighty, Being thankful to him for the blessings he gave us. But What if we think in the other way ? They say if you are religious enough there will never arise a question like this . But a person got to think right? Like they say “There is miracles for those who are willing to think”.
