The story I want to share is about something that happened when I was eleven years old. At that time, I had a little friend who was three years younger than me. We loved spending time together — playing at home, going outside, and sometimes even hanging out with our brothers. She was cheerful, talkative, and full of funny ideas. Being around her always made my day brighter.

One afternoon, she came to my house to play as usual. We played dolls, drew on paper, and laughed about silly things. Then she said she wanted to play with my hair. I didn’t mind, because she always liked to braid it or tie it into funny shapes. I thought it would be just another fun moment.

As she was playing with my hair, she suddenly said,

“Oh no, your hair is tangled!” I got a bit nervous and asked her to fix it.

She said, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it!” — and that’s when things got… interesting.

A few seconds later, I noticed she was holding a small bunch of hair in her hand. I froze. For a moment, I thought it wasn’t mine — maybe it was from the comb or something.

But when I touched my bangs, I realized the truth. She had accidentally cut my bangs!

I was completely shocked. My heart dropped, and I couldn’t even speak. I just stared at her, and she looked back at me with a guilty smile, probably realizing what she had done. A few moments later, I ran straight to my parents’ room and burst into tears.

Looking back now, it’s actually a funny memory — but at that time, it was a tragedy for my eleven-year-old self.

From that day on, I learned one important lesson: never let a kid under ten years old play with scissors and your hair! Kids can be so random, and you’ll never know what will happen next.
